What Copy.ai sells now
Copy.ai's homepage leads with "The First AI-Native GTM Platform." Its use cases are mostly sales and operations: prospecting, inbound lead processing, deal coaching and CRM enrichment. Content creation is one marketing use case among several. (copy.ai, as of October 2026)
- Chat: $29 a month, or $24 billed yearly, 5 seats. Unlimited words in Chat with OpenAI, Anthropic and Gemini models.
- Growth: $1,000 a month, 75 seats. 20,000 workflow credits a month, billed $12,000 a year.
- Expansion: $2,000 a month, 150 seats. 45,000 workflow credits a month, billed $24,000 a year.
- Scale: $3,000 a month, 200 seats. 75,000 workflow credits a month, billed $36,000 a year.
The pricing page names no CMS integration. (Copy.ai pricing, as of October 2026) The jump from $29 to $1,000 a month is why small teams who want more than chat go looking.

1. Draftly: sEO blog posts in your brand voice, published to your CMS
Draftly writes blog posts and nothing else. Paste your URL, it sets your brand voice from your site, and posts publish in one click to your CMS. Solopreneur is $29 a month with 2 team members, Growth is $69 with 5, and your first post is free.
Pick it if: Blog posts were the main thing you used Copy.ai for and you want them published, not pasted.
Skip it if: You need sales emails, social posts or translation, or you write in languages other than English. Draftly serves US businesses only.
Every post is checked against your SEO copywriting rules and for AI-sounding writing before you see it. Growth is $69 a month for 5 team members with no per-seat charge.

2. Jasper: marketing teams writing ads, emails, social posts and blogs
Jasper is the closest match to the Copy.ai people remember: one place to write marketing content for every channel. Pro is $69 per seat a month, or $59 billed yearly, with 2 brand voices. (Jasper pricing, Jasper integrations, as of October 2026)
Pick it if: Your team writes across many channels and wants brand voices and templates in one tool.
Skip it if: You're pricing a team. Per-seat pricing adds up, and Copy.ai Chat covers 5 seats for less.
3. Writesonic: tracking how ChatGPT and Gemini mention your brand, with articles included
Writesonic now leads with AI search visibility. Starter is $79 a month billed yearly and includes 15 AI articles a month, plus tracking in ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. (Writesonic pricing, as of October 2026)
Pick it if: You want visibility tracking and site audits along with articles.
Skip it if: You only need the writing. You'd be paying for tracking you won't use.
4. Koala: high-volume SEO and affiliate articles priced by the word
Koala sells words. Starter is $25 a month for 45,000 words on GPT-6 Luna, with bulk writing, live Amazon data and publishing to WordPress, Shopify, Webflow and Ghost. (Koala pricing, as of October 2026)
Pick it if: You publish a lot of articles, especially affiliate content, and want them in bulk.
Skip it if: You'd rather count posts than words. Better models use 2x or 3x the words.
The Koala AI review covers each plan and how far the words go on each model.
5. Claude: one person who wants a strong writing model in a chat app
If you mostly used Copy.ai as a chat window, a chat app does the same job. Claude Pro is $20 a month, or $17 billed yearly. Claude Opus 5.5 scored 93.8 on blog posts in Draftly's writing benchmark, third of 14 models. (Claude pricing, as of October 2026)
Pick it if: You write one draft at a time and are happy to edit and publish by hand.
Skip it if: You're a team of five. Copy.ai Chat at $29 a month for 5 seats is cheaper than five chat subscriptions.
Jasper vs Copy.ai

For marketing copy, pick Jasper. For sales workflows, Copy.ai. For a small team that mainly wants chat, Copy.ai Chat is the cheaper of the two. We tested Jasper against Draftly on real businesses in Jasper vs Draftly.
When Copy.ai is still the right pick
Stay on Chat if a team of up to five wants one AI chat with OpenAI, Anthropic and Gemini models. $29 a month for five seats is hard to beat.
Move up to Growth if you run a sales team and want prospecting, lead processing and CRM enrichment automated. None of the tools above does that.
